PurpleCV are delighted to be part of this initiative run by Engineers in Business Fellowship challenging university students to develop an innovative idea that solves a problem in society.

The Covid-19 pandemic has been particularly tough on students, causing large disruption to their normal university experience and the prospect of facing a tough job market on graduation.

PurpleCV are therefore proud to support the Champion of Champions Competition, which helps participants to develop key employability skills such as project management, problem-solving and presentation.

On top of this, the winners have won a range of prizes including a full CV package from PurpleCV – a CV, cover letter and LinkedIn profile – guaranteed to grab the attention of employers.

President of Engineers in Business Fellowship, David Falzani MBE said:

We have been working with Purple CV for two years and are grateful for your support of the Engineers in Business Competition and our Champion of Champions prize-winners.

The opportunity for all winners to gain professional advice on how best to profile themselves and impress future employers and investors is invaluable.

The winners have jumped at the chance of working with Purple CV on their personalised CV package, which includes a LinkedIn profile. With LinkedIn being a ‘go-to’ place to research employees and business partners, this is a gift of prize for our winners. We look forward to working with you again next year.

This year’s event was online, but here’s some photos of the winners and runners up:

Start Up Runners Up: Exeter University with their idea ‘BioSmart’
