Why should I choose PurpleCV?

Our team of professional CV writers have experience of writing CVs across all sectors and levels of industry. They know exactly how to write an amazing CV that will catch the attention of hiring managers. We charge fair and realistic prices, while providing the best customer service possible through our 24/7 free helpline. All of our CVs are ATS friendly and uniquely tailored to you - we never use templates. We genuinely care about each and every customer, and we want to help you progress in your career.

It’s very easy! After you’ve placed your PurpleCV order we’ll start work right away, and we guarantee we’ll complete it within the agreed turnaround time. If you don’t have an existing CV then we’ll be in contact with you within 24 hours to collect all the necessary information. For any order your writer may contact you to discuss things further. All our CVs are delivered in Microsoft Word and PDF format and, once you’ve received your order, your writer will edit your CV until you’re 100% happy with it.

What information do I need to provide?

If you don’t already have a CV we’ll get in touch to ask you about your work experience, education and other relevant information within 24 hours of submitting your order. If you already have a CV you’ll be asked to upload it during the ordering process. For all orders, we’ll ask for basic personal information so that we can contact you and send your order back by email. We’ll also require your address in order to put this information on your CV and to send a copy pack to you (if you order one).

What are PurpleCV’s prices?

Our prices are extremely competitive. We’ve seen other companies charging £100 plus for an early career CV, which is completely unnecessary. With our CVs starting at only £50, you can be confident that any order with PurpleCV is priced fairly and realistically. For an extra charge you can add accessories to your order, such as a LinkedIn profile, cover letter or printed CV copies. There are no hidden charges and all our prices are clearly displayed throughout the process.

How long will it take for PurpleCV to complete my CV?

Our turnaround times will depend on the type of CV you order. However, our average turnaround for most orders is just two days for the first draft of your CV. We’ll state this when you place an order with us. If you require a CV or social media profile sooner we offer an express service that means you can get your first draft back within 24 hours once all the necessary/required information has been received.

Who will my CV writer be and what relevant experience do they have?

We have a number of writers, who all have extensive CV writing experience. All our writers have relevant experience in writing CVs in your industry. You’ll be assigned a dedicated CV writer who matches your background and CV requirements, and if you order a specialist CV, we will choose a writer with significant knowledge of your industry. You'll also be able to talk to us at any time using our 24/7 freephone number.

When you order we’ll take full payment securely on our website. You can pay using Visa, Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Mastercard or American Express.

What is PurpleCV’s 100% satisfaction guarantee?

Our CV writers are seasoned professionals and know what a fantastic CV looks like. For this reason, if you’re unhappy with your order, we’ll first talk you through the reasons why your CV has been designed and written the way it has. If you’re still unhappy we’ll listen and edit your CV until you are 100% satisfied. Our 100% satisfaction guarantee is backed up by free lifetime amendments.

Are you able to write CVs in other languages?

Unfortunately not – we currently only write CVs in English. We can accommodate American English if you require – please just ask.

Do I need to see you at any point?

As much as we would love to meet you in person, we only work over email and telephone. However, we offer 24/7 freephone access and we’ll work with you remotely to achieve your desired result.

Can I come back to PurpleCV if I need another copy or to amend my CV?

Of course! We’ll keep a copy of your CV on record in case you want us to send it electronically again, or if you wish to make any adjustments. This service is free of charge as we offer free lifetime amendments.

Will my CV be successful?

With PurpleCV, you can rest assured we’ll deliver you a CV that will be successful. We’re always delighted to hear our customers’ success stories, and have received some glowing testimonials from those who have secured great interviews and jobs with their new CVs. As most of our business comes from people recommending others, we believe this is a great way to show the success of our CVs.

How does your job alerts service work?

Our job alerts service is an optional, free service we provide when you order any CV from us. After ordering a CV, you’ll receive an email inviting you to set up your job alerts – this only takes a few seconds. You’ll then start receiving emails at a frequency of your choosing – e.g. daily, weekly, fortnightly etc. – tailored to your industry and the type of role you’re looking for. We believe this free service provides great opportunities you can apply for with your new CV, but there is no obligation to use it. You do not need to set up this service and if you do, you can unsubscribe from the email alerts at any time.

Do you offer refunds?

Q: Do you offer refunds?

We can only offer a refund if we haven’t yet begun working on your order. We’re confident you will be satisfied with the product or service you receive. In the unlikely event you are dissatisfied, you just need to let us know within seven days of receiving your completed order and we’ll work with you diligently until you’re happy with your CV. Should you place an incorrect order – for example, by selecting the wrong type of CV – then we will contact you and arrange for any difference in cost to be settled. Should you not wish to continue at this stage, we will fully refund you.
